No Fault teams up with LeBron James Foundation

February 8th, 2008 - NEW ORLEANS, LA FEBRUARY, 8, 2008 - On Thursday, February 7, No Fault, a long-standing Louisiana-based sport and safety surfacing company, began installing its signature poured in place playground surface, No Fault Safety Surface, for the LeBron James Family Foundation at the St. Bernard Center in the 7th Ward of New Orleans, LA. No Fault and one of the National Basketball Association’s most high profile players, LeBron James, are committed to the ongoing rebuilding efforts and revitalization of New Orleans following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.

The LeBron James Family Foundation has partnered with businesses such as No Fault in many regions of the country, with a hands-on approach to community assistance, helping create or re-create the places where families live, where they learn, and in this case, where they play.

According to Jakki Nance of the Foundation, “The LJFF is committed to empowering children and families, especially single parent families. Playgrounds bring children and families together for quality time. By building a unique playspace for New Orleans’ children, we are encouraging them to challenge themselves physically in an imaginative, fun and – most importantly – safe environment.”

No Fault’s President and Owner, David Brantley stated, “As fellow Louisianans, No Fault is ecstatic and proud to have been selected by the LJFF in providing the youth of New Orleans a creative facility where they can enjoy a safe and fun environment. This is as exciting as when we were chosen by Disney to handle several high profile projects in their theme parks years ago.” He went on to say, “We are also very appreciative of the opportunity to continue to play an integral role in the re-birth of New Orleans by helping families in their desire to have a recreational outlet like this play area.”

Mr. Brantley further explained No Fault’s role in the early stages of this project, “We were originally contacted by the Foundation through our relationship with Nike.” No Fault and the Nike Grind program have had a long-term relationship, utilizing recycled (rubber) Nike tennis shoes in sport and recreational surfaces.

Ms. Nance of the LJFF went on to say of the Foundation’s dealings with No Fault, “We were extremely impressed with the quality of No Fault’s products and their creative ability.”

No Fault has a thirty-four year reputation as the standard bearer in the sport and recreational surfacing industry. For more information, please visit www.nofault.com or email us at info@nofault.com.
